Textile care code

Advice for buying textile products

The products which do not have the 5 textile care symbol on its label, should not appear on the market. The textile care code contains precise information about the cleaning of the fabric for the professional cleaners. The label can be sewed in the textile or stuck on the back, but can also appear on the package or separately in the package. The location of the label is always regulated by the law of the country.

What is the textile care code?

Standard symbols which determine how the particular textile item should be cleaned.

These are instructions for the wearer how the clothes should be washed, dried or ironed. While cleaning the garments are affected by different mechanical and chemical factors, which can influence the durability. The textile care code also helps us to determine which cycle should we choose on the washing machine. Please keep the textile care labels, since this way our colleagues can clean your items without any risks.
